gonna be freeee

SWEET!! I finally figured out how to post a picture on here! Haha, I am a genius! riiiiiiighto! So, after a superly crazy week last week (three midterms and a quiz and alot whole lot of workin' it up at the shack!) I went home to a much needed, nice, relaxing week-end at home. I did basically nothing and I loved it. I worked on the song a bit with my musical genius bro. It has the makings of a good song but still needs a whole lot of work...such as, possibly, some verses!! Haha, it'll come to me eventually! Ah, and I got to go to my own church and catch up with all of my friends there. One of them now has a girlfriend, and another broke up with his long time girlfriend! So, very eventful stuff! As well, three people in my church (including my pastor and his wife) are taking part in the Sea to Sea biking celebration for CRC churches. They will be away for 10 and 1/2 weeks, riding their bikes across Canada with about 250 other people from CRC churches in Canada!! How sweet is that?? If it were possible for me to do it, I would do it for sure!! What an amazing opportunity! So, if you want to pray for a successful training/trip for them,. that'd be cool!
As well, it looks like I will be doing my profession of faith (yes, I know, a long time coming) sometime before Camp starts. The reason why I hadn't done it yet is because my church split off from Zion CRC and for a very long time, we did not have a pastor. And then when we finally got one, I left for university. So, I basically got skipped over and never took the time to do it. So I will be hopefully, doing some intensive sessions with my pastor and then doing it on the same day as my bro! That would be a very neat thing!
I also had the opportunity to go to a sweet-butt concert last night! The Pat Dryburgh band (with members including Dave Forneri- they need to rename the band 'The Dave Forneri band'- he has a whole wack of fans!) played first and they did a super good job! I really liked their songs! And Pat has a very very nice voice, I could prolly listen to it all day. Then Joel G took over the stage, and my my, they are goooooooood with a capital G! their music has become alot harder (on account of new members Trev and Pauly) and it is sweet. I was just amazed at their musical abilities that God gave to them. Their ministry can sure be effective if they continue to get bigger!
After the concert, I met Trev's fiance. And that was cool, but also very hard. She is super nice and very pretty. And I can definitely tell that they love eachother very very much. I wish I wasn't so jealous of them...but they will have an awesome life together and I do truly thank God that they found eachother and that they will glorify God through their marriage.
School is slowly winding down to a halt...I had the last of my research method labs today. WOOT WOOT! And I have my first/last paper due on Thursday as well as my last midterm in Ancient Sport in Greece and Rome. Man, I am so ready for winter to be done with, so that I can finish school and work at Rekkers (make some moooolah!!) and then have potentially the best summer of my life at Camp! SO PUMPED!!! Oh, if anyone finds out who the other lifeguard is, or at least the gender, could you please let me know ASAP???? Hehe, thanks!
Oh man, almost forgot, STARFIELD ON FRIDAY!!! WHO's excited??? ME ME!! Ahhh...I love concerts! Hehehe, okay, this is getting wayyy to loooong for everyone. So I hope this finds you doing well, and I am off to getting some delicious din-din! Night folks!
